Foundations Track
This class is for pups 16 weeks and younger. This is the most influential period in your dog’s life! It is during this time when positive socialization needs to happen to help prevent future behavior problems. This class teaches you how to properly socialize your pup and offers lots of new experiences in a cozy, and clean classroom setting. New sounds, textures, people and pups for him/her to explore all while having FUN!
Join the FUN Anytime! Our puppy class is open enrollment. You get 5 sessions to use on either our Wednesday or Sunday classes. Complete our online orientation and then start training. Once enrolled we will email an online orientation video and class instructions.

Puppy Preschool
This program is for dogs 4 months and older as well as any dog that is new to training with us. S.T.A.R. stands for Socialization, Training, Activity and a Responsible owner, all of the things a dog needs to have a good life. You will learn valuable training tips as well as basic skills such as loose leash walking, come when called, sit, down, stay, polite greeting, and leave it. The instructor will administer the AKC S.T.A.R. test at the end of the program and AKC STAR gold medals will be awarded! This is a 6 week class and starts with a MANDATORY ORIENTATION that must be attended by all students. (exception may be for those who have taken preschool or private lessons with us)

S.T.A.R Program
This class will build the skills learned in our STAR class. We will add some fun tricks and games to help enhance the lessons. We will add more distractions, distance and duration to challenge you and your dog’s basic skills. It is a great next step for the STAR graduates and a terrific way for you and your dog to Build Your Bond! Building the Bond class is a prerequisite for CGC and Therapy Dog Classes.

Building the Bond
Patio Pup Track
This is a short, 4 week, 40 minute class and the only skill we work on is Polite Greeting. This class is for dogs who are exuberant greeters and enthusiastically jump on greeters. We will cover several greeting games to help your dog keep their feet on the floor when saying "Hi"! If a dog is mildly shy, we can also help them become more comfortable greeting people. This class is NOT for severely shy, anxious or reactive dogs.

More and more stores, restaurants, and public locations are now dog friendly! Wouldn’t it be nice if you could take your dog with you without the worry of them misbehaving? With our out and about class now you can! The first two sessions focus on foundational skills at the training center, while the final three sessions take place at dog-friendly locations such as parks, greenhouses, or stores. Your dog will learn to stay calm and well-mannered in public settings.
We will teach practical behaviors you can use when taking your dog out in public. Go over routines to keep your dogs focus and attention around distractions, and work on politely greeting new people in novel settings.

Out and About
Does your dog pull you on the leash? Do you have trouble getting focus and attention on your daily walks? Then our Stroll like a Pro shorty class is the perfect class for you! In this class we focus just on loose leash walking skills. Each week we will teach new exercises specifically related to improving your dogs loose leash walking and attention/focus while on walks.
Each class is 45 min and this class runs for 4 consecutive weeks.

Stroll Like a Pro
CGC training emphasizes responsible owners and well mannered dogs. The curriculum focuses on items that will be tested at the end of the 6 week session, such as leash walking through a crowd, approach of another dog and handler, recall, long distance stay and handling. The test is administered by a Certified AKC CGC evaluator and upon passing, each team will be awarded a CGC certificate and blue ribbon.
CGC is a prerequisite for the Therapy Dog Class.

Canine Good Citizen
This is the advanced level of the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen Program. The AKC Community Canine test is done in real situations including at parks, festivals, and out in the community.. 5 weeks 180.00

Canine
Requires that the dog demonstrates CGC skills and beyond in a setting that includes traffic, sidewalks, and other distractions that are present in a city or town. This is a great way to advance your dog's CGC skills and/or prepare for Therapy Dog work.5 weeks 180.00

AKC Urban
Performance Pup Track
This class is a great way to harness the power of your dog’s nose to find hides. We eventually work with odors in this class as well as containers, interior, exterior and buried hides. This class will really tire your dog and focus their extraordinary sense of smell which in turn, will make them smile!

Scent Work
Introduce your dog to the exciting world of agility training! Build a stronger bond with your dog by working as a team to complete an AKC Agility course. Your dog will be challenged both mentally and physically fulfilling many dogs need for exercise and work.
This class covers foundational agility skills and obstacles while helping to burn energy and strengthen your bond with your pup. We will teach you how to maneuver and cue your dog through an agility course. The goal is to build your dogs confidence on each obstacle so they enjoy the sport! Each week we go over rules and teach new behaviors until your dog knows all the requirements for AKC agility.

Agility
AKC Rally is one of four companion events (obedience, Rally, agility, and tracking). AKC Rally develops better teamwork between you and your dog, as well as sharpens your dog’s obedience skills and behavior – at home and in public.
You and your dog navigate a course together, side-by-side, at your own brisk pace. You move your dog through a course with signs where they perform different exercises. The courses include various turns and commands such as sit, down, stay, etc.
You are allowed unlimited communication with your dog. The handler may use communication such as verbal commands, clapping your hands, patting your legs and using hand signals to praise and encourage your dog. This class is for those just starting out in canine sports for competition or just wanting to take basic obedience to the next level. This is a 5 week class.
Your dog should have some basic obedience training prior to taking this class. In order to enroll in this class we require that your dog complete our Beginner Good Manners Class or be approved by one of our trainers.

Rally
PupKour is for dogs of any age, but must have taken at least the STAR class from Canine Karma. We will be using FITPAWS equipment to build front and hind body strength and awareness as well as core and balance skills. This is a great way to build confidence and athleticism while providing physical and mental challenges for your dog. It is a fun fitness class for our furry friends!

Pup-Kour
This class is super fun and sure to tire your dog as we challenge his/her mind. We cover 20-30 tricks including: wave, roll over, twirl, back up, weave and many more. At the end of the class you and your dog will be tested and be eligible to earn the AKC’s Tricks Title.
**All dogs in class must be friendly and up to date on vaccines and fecal.

Tricks Class
This class contains cardio, balance, strength training and core work for you and your dog while also practicing skills such as leash walking, attention exercises and “Fit Tricks”. Dogs must be graduates of STAR class and have basic skills in: Sit, Down, Touch, Stay and Leash Walking.

Canine Good Citizen
Focused Intensives
Does your dog have a friendly and outgoing personality? Have you thought about sharing your dog with the community by visiting nursing homes, hospitals, schools or churches? Then Therapy Dog Class is for you! During this 6 week class, you and your dog will become a team and work on skills such as leash walking through crowds and around medical equipment, handling, polite greeting, Leave It . The teams will then be tested by our Therapy Dog evaluator with the opportunity of becoming a Certified Therapy Dog through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. This will require an assessment and 3 observations by the evaluator.

Therapy Dog
Does your dog bark, lunge, shut down, or spiral when faced with common triggers—other dogs, new people, bikes, wildlife, or sudden sounds? Triggered is a focused skills class that builds impulse control and calm, using fear-free, positive methods. We’ll identify your dog’s specific triggers and work below threshold with tailored desensitization and counterconditioning so your dog can learn safely at their own pace.
This Class is not for aggressive dogs.
